There has been so much going on. Jabs, and trying to plan for an uncertain future (with Covid). There is always a silver lining to any cloud - the weather has improved. Which means I've been able to get out for longer walks for desperately need exercise. Me and cold weather just do not go together.

Despite there being only the odd blossoming of cherry plum trees, forming part of the hedgerow around where I live, there is plenty of activity to see. The small birds have been pairing up, the crows are guarding their nests hight in tall trees and the odd bumble has ventured out too.

I managed to get some photographs of the hedge sparrows, noisily guarding a newly created nest, and a few of a magpie in his pied attire. Then there was this friendly little robin.
